20:00 Concert performance VILIS DAUDZIŅŠ. PLŪDONS UN UPES DIEVS
The audience is offered several, hitherto lesser-known, ballads by Vilis Plūdonis, read by Vilis Daudziņš, an actor of the New Riga Theatre. They feature sensual depictions, blood-curdling ballads and heroic poems. In order to give the audience a more complete insight into Plūdonis’s poetry, each depiction is introduced by a short commentary. This is the story of an artist with an inimitable musicality and sense of rhythm, a virtuoso master of words, the king of ballads and poems. A man who became the God of the river Plūdonis.

A poetically musical chamber performance about sadness. This is a global theme, because sadness can be encountered anywhere in everyday life. The performance is for children and parents, because this is a fundamental feeling that no one has avoided, and therefore it is relevant to experience and get to know it. The more we know about this feeling, the less we will suffer from this feeling. Often parents are desperately afraid of their offspring getting into this feeling, and then an endless chain of attractions arises, where each next stage must be more active than the previous one, just so that sadness does not appear. An addiction to the need for hyperactivity is formed. This can develop torturously for both parents and children. The performance is conceived without text, which allows it to be less deductive. The performance uses the contrast of different colors and no color (black and gray). The performance is based on Rūta Briede’s story about a dog who found sadness. The performance features live music – harpsichord and works by 15th-century composers Antonio Valente, Bernardo Pasquini, Antonio de Cabezona, Stefano Landi, Claudio Monteverdi. The musical score is very personal.

THE ARCHIPELAGO OF OBLIVION
The musical theatrical performance in the online environment Archipelago of Oblivion is a long-term project of the musical theatre collective Membra. Thanks to the digital residency in Sansusī, the collective Membra has created the first island of the Archipelago of Oblivion. The theme of this work is the poetics of forgetting: the principles of how to forget and remember the forgotten again. The collective is interested in the processes of how forgetting occurs both in the individual and in society. People create places, build houses, and often abandon it all. What happens when a person is no longer there? What has changed, and what changes when someone returns? Can something be saved by forgetting it, and is there any right to be forgotten? What is the order of forgetting?

A specially created instructional performance for Dirty Deal Teatro –
a pseudo-meditative dance mirror duet
The instructions invite you to a very simple, meditative dance – a mirror duet, in which each person is responsible not only for themselves, but also for the other person. The dance can take place both indoors and outdoors and can continue even after the audio recording ends.

LONG LIVE THE BIRDS!
The listening performance Long Live the Birds! is a walk in the Susēja Forest, inspired by communication with patients of the Aknīste Psychoneurological Hospital. Between fiction, reality and humor, the idea of this performance stems from a simple desire to invite the audience to listen to each other.
The performance was created as part of the Sansusī Welfare Residency Program (curator Anda Lāce), during which physical theater artist Vita Malahova conducted regular telephone conversations with residents of the Aknīste Psychoneurological Hospital.
